JCC JC121404 20m 24V 4.8W/m 3000K IP20 Warm White LED Strip

The JCC JC121404 20m LED strip provides electricians and lighting installers with a practical solution for medium-to-large interior lighting projects. Its longer reel length is ideal when standard five or ten-metre packs are insufficient, allowing multiple accurately sized sections to be prepared from one continuous reel.

Producing an inviting 3000K warm white light, the JC121404 is well suited to kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, hotels, restaurants, bars, reception areas, retail shelving and illuminated displays. Its warm appearance helps create comfortable ambient lighting while still providing useful illumination for cabinets, worktops and commercial features.

The tape delivers 480 lumens per metre from an efficient power consumption of 4.8W per metre. With 120 LEDs on every metre, the light sources are closely spaced to support a more consistent lighting effect, especially when the tape is installed inside a compatible aluminium profile and diffuser.

Clearly identified 50mm cutting points give installers excellent control over the finished length. The slim 10mm-wide tape also includes self-adhesive backing for initial positioning on a clean, dry and suitable surface.

Using the complete 20-metre reel represents a calculated connected load of 96W and a nominal total light output of approximately 9,600 lumens. However, the tape should not normally be treated as a single 20-metre run powered only from one end.

JCC advises that runs longer than 10 metres may experience increasing voltage drop. A practical project design could divide the reel into two separately powered 10-metre sections. Each 10-metre section consumes 48W and can be operated by a correctly selected 50W 24V constant-voltage driver.

The JC121404 is IP20 rated, so it is intended exclusively for dry indoor areas and must not be exposed to water or outdoor weather. The LED driver, aluminium profile, diffuser, connectors and control equipment are selected separately. Installation and driver calculations should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
