The JCC JC121300 is a professional 50-metre continuous LED strip reel designed for larger residential, retail, hospitality and commercial lighting projects. Its generous reel length allows electricians to create multiple accurately sized sections from one supply, making it ideal for extensive shelving, kitchen cabinetry, display lighting, reception desks, ceiling coving and architectural features.

Producing an inviting 3000K warm white light, the JC121300 creates a comfortable atmosphere in homes, hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and customer-facing interiors. It delivers 480 lumens per metre while consuming only 4.8W per metre, achieving an efficient 100 lumens per circuit watt.

With 120 LEDs per metre, the tape provides closely spaced illumination for a more consistent lighting effect. Clearly marked 50mm cutting points allow precise sizing with minimal waste, while the self-adhesive backing supports straightforward positioning on clean, dry and suitable surfaces.

For a refined professional finish, the 10mm-wide tape can be installed inside compatible aluminium profiles. These are available in surface-mounted, recessed and corner formats and can help diffuse the visible LED points, protect the strip and assist with heat dissipation.

The complete 50-metre reel represents a calculated 240W connected load and a nominal total output of 24,000 lumens. However, it should not be powered as one 50-metre run from a single end. JCC advises considering a new power supply every 10 metres because voltage drop over longer distances can reduce light output.

For a professional installation, divide the reel into appropriately powered sections and select each 24V constant-voltage driver according to the wattage of its connected strip. For example, a 10-metre section uses 48W, which is within the stated capacity of a suitable 50W driver.

The JC121300 is IP20 rated and intended for dry indoor environments only. Drivers, profiles, connectors and control equipment are available separately and must be correctly matched to the installation. Electrical design and connection should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
