The JCC JC121403 10m LED strip provides 4000K neutral white lighting for projects that need a longer length of IP65 rated tape. It is a practical option for electricians planning lighting beneath kitchen units, along shelving, inside utility areas or around suitable outdoor features. Its neutral white colour gives surfaces a clear, fresh appearance without the warmer tone of a 3000K strip. 

Rated at 4.8W per metre and 480 lumens per metre, JC121403 works well where the aim is a defined line of accent or supplementary light. It contains 120 LEDs per metre and has a 120° beam angle. The tape is 10mm wide, fixes with adhesive tape and can be cut at marked 50mm intervals. That allows an installer to measure sections for cabinets, shelving or fitted joinery with more precision. 

The 10m length offers flexibility when one project needs more than a short cabinet run. For example, an electrician could plan several kitchen units and shelves using the same LED tape specification, or divide the length between separate features. JCC lists surface, slimline surface, recessed, corner and plaster-in profile options across its LED strip range. Where a profile is needed, check its internal dimensions against the tape’s 10mm width. 

JC121403 requires a compatible 24V DC driver. At 4.8W/m, the full 10m has a calculated rated strip load of 48W. Choose a driver for the length actually connected and keep the load within the driver’s maximum wattage. The strip is dimmable depending on the driver and controls selected. For longer or more complex layouts, consider cable lengths and feed positions: JCC warns that voltage drop can affect LED tape output over distance. 

Its IP65 rating makes JC121403 suitable for correctly designed installations that require more protection than IP20 tape. Cutting or reconnecting the strip requires care: JCC says installers must maintain the IP rating with appropriately protected connections and sealed cut ends where applicable. JCC lists a three-year warranty for this model.
