The JCC JC121285 5m LED strip provides crisp 4000K neutral white light for projects where a cleaner, less warm appearance is preferred. It is a useful choice for electricians planning kitchen cabinet lighting, utility areas, shelving, workspaces and suitable outdoor features. Its IP65 rating gives this version protection suited to locations where an IP20 indoor strip would not be appropriate, provided the complete installation and its connections are specified correctly.

JC121285 is a 24V LED tape rated at 4.8W per metre and 480 lumens per metre. It has 120 LEDs per metre and a 120° beam angle, making it suited to a measured line of accent or supplementary light. The strip is 10mm wide, supplied as a continuous 5m reel, and has marked 50mm cut points. That gives installers the flexibility to trim a section for a shelf, cabinet or custom feature rather than relying on fixed lengths. JCC lists adhesive tape as the fixing method and states that aluminium profile is available. 

The 4000K neutral white colour works particularly well when customers want a clearer appearance over a kitchen worktop, inside a utility room or across a display, without choosing a warmer 3000K strip. At 480lm/m, this is JCC’s lower wattage 4.8W/m option: plan it for the lighting effect required, especially if the strip will sit inside a diffuser or at a distance from the surface being lit. 

JC121285 requires a suitable 24V DC driver. The full 5m strip has a calculated rated load of 24W; choose a driver that supports the connected length and does not exceed its maximum rated output. Dimming depends on the driver and controls selected. JCC lists non-dimmable, TRIAC dimmable and 1–10V dimmable driver options within its LED strip range.
