JCC JC121405 20m 24V 4.8W/m 3000K IP65 Warm White LED Strip

The JCC JC121405 combines a generous 20-metre reel length with IP65 protection, making it a strong choice for larger decorative lighting projects where moisture resistance and a comfortable warm-white atmosphere are both important.

Producing 3000K warm white light, this professional 24V LED tape is well suited to covered terraces, outdoor seating areas, bars, restaurants, hotels, spas, suitable bathroom features and protected architectural details. It can also be divided into multiple matching sections for larger residential or commercial installations.

Warm illumination for larger projects

Each metre produces 480 lumens while consuming only 4.8W, achieving an efficiency of 100 lumens per circuit watt. With 120 LEDs per metre, the light sources are positioned closely together to support a smoother, more consistent line of illumination.

If all 20 metres are installed, the calculated connected load is 96W, with a nominal total output of approximately 9,600 lumens. The reel should, however, be divided into correctly powered sections rather than treated as one 20-metre end-fed run.

Designed for accurate project installation

Cutting points every 50mm allow the JC121405 to be tailored precisely to seating areas, cabinets, displays, bars and architectural features. Its slim 10mm width suits various compatible JCC surface, recessed, corner, slimline and plaster-in aluminium profiles.

Profiles can protect the tape, improve heat dissipation and provide a neater visual finish. An appropriate diffuser can also soften the appearance of individual LED points.

Driver and voltage-drop planning

JCC advises that LED tape runs longer than 10 metres can experience increasing voltage drop. A practical installation arrangement is to divide the JC121405 into two 10-metre sections. Each section consumes 48W and can be supplied by a correctly specified 50W 24V constant-voltage driver.

A suitably designed common-driver system with separate parallel feeds may also be possible, but total loading, cable length, conductor size, voltage drop and dimming compatibility must be assessed by the electrician.

Maintaining IP65 after cutting

Cutting the tape or removing its silicone covering for a connector can compromise the original protection. Every altered end and connection must be resealed with suitable heat-shrink, compatible silicone end caps and appropriate silicone sealant.

The IP65 rating does not permit submersion, flooding or continual exposure to running water. Drivers and electrical connections must be installed in suitably protected locations or housed within appropriately rated enclosures.
