JCC JC121401 10m 24V 4.8W/m 3000K IP65 Warm White LED Strip

Create warm, atmospheric lighting in moisture-prone and exterior locations with the JCC JC121401 10m IP65 LED strip. Its protected construction makes it a practical choice for covered outdoor areas, bathroom features, kitchens, bars, hospitality settings and other installations where a standard IP20 strip would not provide sufficient protection.

The strip produces a comfortable 3000K warm white light, helping patios, seating areas, displays and architectural details feel inviting rather than overly bright or clinical. It is particularly effective for indirect lighting beneath cabinets, inside suitable profiles, around covered terraces or along protected exterior features.

Efficient warm-white performance

The JC121401 uses only 4.8W per metre while producing 480 lumens per metre, delivering an efficiency of 100 lumens per circuit watt. Its 120 LEDs per metre provide closely spaced illumination, supporting a more consistent lighting effect across the full installation.

An uncut ten-metre reel represents a calculated 48W connected load and approximately 4,800 nominal lumens. A correctly selected 50W 24V constant-voltage driver can support approximately 10.4 metres of this 4.8W/m tape according to JCC’s driver calculation table.

Flexible cutting with essential IP65 protection

The tape can be cut every 50mm at the designated copper contacts, allowing electricians to produce accurately sized sections. However, cutting or reconnecting an IP65 strip interrupts its protective covering.

The installer is responsible for restoring the IP rating using appropriate heat-shrink protection, compatible silicone end caps and suitable silicone sealant. Connectors, cable entries, drivers and terminations must also provide protection appropriate to the installation environment.

Although the tape is IP65 rated, it must not be installed where it will be submerged or exposed to continual running water. The selected driver and every electrical connection must be correctly located or independently protected. Installation should be designed and completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK wiring regulations.
