JCC JC121312 50m 24V 7.2W/m RGBW 4000K LED Strip Project Reel

Create a consistent colour-changing lighting scheme across larger commercial and residential projects with the JCC JC121312 50m RGBW LED strip. Supplied as a long contractor reel, it can be divided into customised sections for retail displays, hospitality interiors, kitchens, entertainment spaces, reception areas, fitted furniture and architectural features.

The JC121312 combines red, green, blue and dedicated 4000K neutral-white LEDs. Compatible JCC RGBW controls can produce 16 colour options, adjustable brightness and dynamic effects, while the separate white channel provides clear, balanced illumination for everyday use.

Neutral-white lighting for contemporary interiors

The dedicated 4000K channel gives JC121312 a different purpose from warm-white RGBW tape. Its cleaner neutral-white appearance is particularly effective in modern kitchens, retail environments, commercial displays and task-focused spaces where products, surfaces and architectural details should remain clearly visible.

Customers can switch from colourful feature lighting to practical neutral-white illumination without installing a separate single-colour LED strip.

Professional 50-metre project reel

The tape consumes 7.2W per metre, giving the complete 50-metre reel a calculated connected load of 360W. This is greater than the 350W maximum rating of one JCC RGBW controller, so the full reel cannot be powered through a single controller.

The reel should be divided into shorter sections with appropriately specified controllers and 24V constant-voltage drivers. This also helps manage voltage drop, which can otherwise cause reduced brightness or inconsistent colour over longer LED tape runs.

A practical project arrangement is five 10-metre sections. Each section represents a calculated 72W load and can be powered through suitable RGBW control equipment and a correctly selected 24V driver. Compatible controllers can be grouped into common control zones when several sections need to operate together.

Flexible 100mm cutting points

The JC121312 can be cut every 100mm at the marked copper contacts, allowing electricians to prepare accurately measured sections for different rooms, cabinets, displays or lighting features.

Every reconnection must preserve the correct positive, red, green, blue and white polarity. Compatible five-core RGBW connectors or professionally completed soldered connections should be used.

Aluminium profile installation

The strip is 10mm wide and suitable for installation inside compatible surface, recessed or corner aluminium profiles. A profile protects the tape, assists heat dissipation and supports a diffuser for a cleaner, more continuous lighting effect.

The JC121312 is IP20-rated and intended for dry indoor environments. It must not be installed outdoors or in locations where it may encounter water or excessive moisture.
