JCC JC121279 5m 24V 7.2W/m IP20 RGBW 3000K LED Strip

Create colourful feature lighting without sacrificing a useful warm-white option with the JCC JC121279 RGBW LED strip. Supplied as a continuous five-metre reel, this professional 24V LED tape combines red, green, blue and dedicated 3000K white LEDs, making it suitable for both decorative colour effects and comfortable everyday ambient lighting.

The JC121279 can produce 16 different colour options when connected to a compatible JCC RGBW controller. Customers can switch between eye-catching coloured lighting and an inviting 3000K warm-white channel, making the strip ideal for entertainment rooms, bars, restaurants, retail displays, kitchens, bedrooms, shelving and illuminated furniture.

One LED strip for colour and warm-white lighting

Unlike basic RGB tape, which attempts to produce white by mixing red, green and blue light, RGBW tape includes a separate white channel. This gives the JC121279 greater flexibility where an installation needs colourful effects for atmosphere but also requires a dedicated warm-white setting for general background lighting.

Lighting colour, brightness and dynamic effects are managed through a compatible RGBW controller and remote. The required controller and 24V driver are available separately and must be correctly matched to the connected tape load.

Five-metre reel with accurate cutting points

The tape is supplied as a continuous five-metre reel and uses 7.2W per metre. A complete reel therefore has a calculated connected load of 36W.

It can be cut every 100mm at the marked copper contacts, helping electricians create accurately measured sections. Cutting anywhere other than the designated copper points may damage the circuit board or prevent part of the strip from illuminating correctly.

The tape is pre-wired with approximately 250mm of five-core DC cable for connection to the RGBW controller. Correct RGBW polarity must be maintained whenever the tape is cut and reconnected.

Professional indoor feature lighting

The JC121279 has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor locations. Its slim 10mm width makes it suitable for compatible aluminium profiles, including surface-mounted, recessed and corner-profile options.

Installing the tape in an aluminium profile helps protect it, assists with heat dissipation and supports a diffuser for a cleaner, more continuous lighting effect. A profile is especially useful where the LEDs would otherwise remain visible.

A compatible RGBW controller, remote control, 24V non-dimmable constant-voltage driver and aluminium profile are not included unless stated separately. The driver must be selected according to the total connected wattage, and installation should be completed by a qualified electrician.
