The JCC JC121277 is a professional five-metre, 24V LED strip producing bright 4000K neutral white light for kitchens, offices, retail displays, shelving, work areas and architectural lighting. With 120 LEDs per metre and an output of 1,440 lumens per metre, it provides efficient, closely spaced illumination for domestic and commercial interiors.

Unlike warmer 3000K tape, the 4000K neutral white output creates a cleaner and more functional appearance. It is particularly suitable for kitchen worktops, office furniture, shop displays, reception counters, illuminated shelving and joinery where customers need clear visibility without the colder appearance of daylight white lighting.

Bright, closely spaced LED illumination

The JC121277 combines strong light output with a high LED density:

Accurate 50mm cutting intervals

The JCC JC121277 can be shortened every 50mm, helping electricians fit the tape accurately inside cabinets, shelves, display units and aluminium profiles. The strip must only be cut through the marked copper connection points.

Cut sections can be reconnected using suitable tape-to-tape, tape-to-cable or corner connectors. Correct positive and negative polarity must be maintained throughout the 24V circuit.

Compatible 24V driver required

The LED strip requires a separately purchased 24V constant-voltage driver. The full five-metre reel consumes 72W, so the chosen driver must safely support the complete connected load.

JCC’s driver-sizing guidance shows that a suitable 75W driver can operate approximately 5.2 metres of 14.4W-per-metre LED tape. The total strip wattage must never exceed the maximum output of the driver.

Dimmable with the correct driver

The dimming method is determined by the selected driver. Compatible options include:

• TRIAC dimmable 24V drivers
• 1–10V dimmable drivers
• Standard non-dimmable 24V drivers

The wall control, driver and total LED strip load must all be compatible. A standard non-dimmable driver will not provide brightness control.

Professional mounting and heat management

The strip is supplied with adhesive backing for positioning on a clean, smooth and dry surface. For a reliable professional installation, use of a suitable aluminium profile is recommended.

An aluminium profile can:

• Protect the strip from accidental damage
• Create a neat finished installation
• Hold an opal diffuser
• Reduce the appearance of individual LED points

The JC121277 is 10mm wide and supplied as one continuous five-metre reel with a pre-wired DC connection lead. Its IP20 rating means it is suitable for dry indoor environments only.
