The JCC JC121276 is a professional 5-metre warm white LED strip designed for bright, consistent indoor accent lighting, display lighting and concealed linear illumination. Operating at 24V DC and delivering 1,440 lumens per metre, it is a powerful choice for kitchens, retail displays, shelving, reception desks, ceiling details, joinery and commercial interior projects.

With 120 LEDs per metre, the JC121276 produces a closely spaced and even line of light. This higher LED density helps reduce visible bright spots, particularly when the tape is installed inside a suitable aluminium profile with an opal diffuser.

The fixed 3000K warm white colour temperature creates a comfortable, welcoming appearance. It is especially suitable for homes, restaurants, hotels, reception areas, retail interiors and other spaces where customers want a warmer alternative to cool white commercial lighting.

Professional lighting performance

The JCC JC121276 produces 1,440 lumens per metre while consuming 14.4W per metre. Across the complete five-metre reel, this provides:

• Potential full-reel output: approximately 7,200 lumens
• LED density: 120 LEDs per metre
• Efficiency: 100 lumens per watt

A correctly sized 24V constant-voltage LED driver is required and is purchased separately. For the complete five-metre reel, JCC’s driver-sizing guidance indicates that a 75W driver can operate up to approximately 5.2 metres of 14.4W-per-metre tape. The connected load must never exceed the driver’s maximum rated output.

Flexible 50mm cutting intervals

The strip can be shortened at 50mm intervals, giving electricians greater control when fitting the tape into cabinets, shelving, display units or architectural profiles. It must only be cut at the clearly marked copper connection points, as cutting elsewhere can damage the circuit and prevent part of the strip from illuminating.

When reconnecting cut sections, the positive and negative polarity must be maintained. Compatible tape-to-tape, tape-to-cable and corner connectors can be used where the installation requires separate sections or changes in direction.

Dimming options

The JC121276 can be dimmed when it is connected to the correct compatible dimmable 24V driver. JCC offers driver options for:

• TRIAC mains dimming
• 1–10V commercial lighting control
• Standard non-dimmable operation

The LED strip itself does not determine the dimming method. The selected driver and control equipment must be compatible with each other and correctly sized for the connected tape load.

Professional installation

An adhesive backing is provided for positioning the LED tape. For a reliable professional installation, the mounting surface should be clean, dry, smooth and free from grease or dust.

Using a suitable JCC aluminium profile is recommended because it:

• Helps dissipate heat from the LED tape
• Supports improved operating conditions
• Protects the strip from accidental contact
• Allows a diffuser to soften the appearance of individual LEDs

The strip is 10mm wide and supplied as a continuous five-metre reel with a pre-wired DC connection lead. Its IP20 rating means it is intended for dry indoor areas only and must not be used outdoors or in locations exposed to water or excessive moisture.
