The basic principle behind evaporative cooling is quite simple. The cooler consists of a fan that draws in warm air from the surrounding environment and passes it through a series of moistened pads or a water-soaked medium. As the warm air passes over the wet surface, the water evaporates, absorbing heat from the air and lowering its temperature. The cooler air is then blown out into the room, providing a refreshing and cool breeze. Unlike air conditioners, evaporative coolers do not use refrigerants or compressors, making them more environmentally friendly and cost-effective to operate. They rely on the natural process of evaporation to cool the air, using water and a fan as the primary components.
