Description

ROBUS PROTON 360° PIR Sensor Flush Mount with Accessory Shield

The ROBUS PROTON 360° PIR Sensor is a professional flush-mounted motion detector designed to provide intelligent lighting control while reducing energy consumption. Using advanced passive infrared (PIR) technology, the sensor automatically switches lighting on when movement is detected and off when an area becomes vacant, helping to reduce unnecessary energy usage in homes, offices, corridors, toilets, storerooms and commercial environments.

Designed with a discreet flush-front appearance, the PROTON blends seamlessly into ceilings while providing reliable 360° motion detection. Supplied with an accessory shield, installers can narrow the detection zone to prevent unwanted activation from adjacent areas, making it ideal for corridors, entrances and controlled detection applications.

The sensor features adjustable lux settings from 3 to 2000 lux, adjustable time delay from 10 seconds to 15 minutes, manual override functionality and a high-load switching capacity of up to 300W LED lighting. Large terminals support loop-in loop-out wiring, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional junction boxes.

FAQ's

Why use a PIR sensor?

A PIR sensor helps reduce energy costs by ensuring lights operate only when needed. This can improve energy efficiency in both residential and commercial buildings.

What makes the PROTON different?

The included accessory shield allows installers to narrow the detection area, reducing false triggers and improving detection accuracy in challenging spaces

Will the sensor turn lights on during daylight hours?

Not necessarily. The adjustable lux settings allow the sensor to operate only when ambient light levels fall below a chosen threshold.

What is the maximum LED load?

The PROTON supports up to 300W LED load and 1200W incandescent load.
