Description

Emergency lighting for a compatible three-circuit track system

The Knightsbridge Eclipse ECLEMBK is a matt black 3W emergency track light compatible with the Knightsbridge K-LINE three-circuit track system. It provides battery-powered illumination when the normal supply fails, allowing emergency lighting to be incorporated into an indoor track installation.

The fitting delivers 150 lumens in emergency mode, with a 6000K daylight light colour and an 80° beam. Its matt black polycarbonate housing coordinates with black track and accessories in retail, gallery and office interiors.

Dual mode means manual or self-testing

This model offers a choice of manual testing or self-testing, selected using an internal DIP switch during installation.

In self-test mode, the fitting carries out scheduled checks of its emergency operation. Status indication helps identify whether attention is required, while test results must still be checked and recorded.

The testing mode is separate from the track circuit selector. One selects the test arrangement; the other assigns the fitting to the appropriate electrical circuit within the compatible track.

Non-maintained emergency operation

The Eclipse is non-maintained only. Its emergency light source remains off during normal supply conditions and illuminates when emergency operation is triggered.

It is therefore intended for emergency illumination rather than everyday display lighting. The phrase “dual mode” does not mean that the fitting can be changed between maintained and non-maintained operation.

A supplied LiFePO4 battery supports a three-hour emergency duration. The manufacturer recommends a minimum initial charging period of 24 hours before an emergency duration test.
