Description
The JCC JCEM110027WH EscapeLUX Emergency Downlight is a compact white 1W emergency ceiling light designed to illuminate open areas and escape corridors when the normal mains lighting supply fails. Its discreet appearance makes it suitable for offices, hotels, schools, healthcare buildings, shops and other commercial interiors.
An open-area lens is fitted as standard, producing 140 lumens with a wide 170-degree beam angle. A corridor lens is also included, increasing the emergency output to 160 lumens while shaping the light distribution along narrower escape routes and corridors.
Supplying both lenses allows electricians and lighting designers to select the appropriate distribution during installation without ordering a separate accessory. The broad open-area lens is suited to larger rooms and circulation spaces, while the corridor lens helps direct emergency illumination along defined escape routes.
The JCC JCEM110027WH emergency downlight uses a low-glare green status indicator that remains visible during routine testing without creating unnecessary visual distraction. A self-test model is also available separately within the JCC EscapeLUX range.
A lithium LiFePO4 emergency battery provides dependable backup performance and is covered by JCC’s five-year battery warranty. The Class II fitting operates from a 220–240V supply and uses approximately 1.2W in normal AC operation and 1W in emergency DC mode.
With an IP20 rating, the fitting is intended for dry indoor applications. Its operating temperature range of 0°C to 45°C makes it suitable for a wide variety of commercial emergency-lighting projects.
