JCC JCEM110016WH EscapeLUX IP66 Self-Test Emergency Bulkhead

Protect escape routes, corridors and exit points with the JCC JCEM110016WH EscapeLUX emergency bulkhead. This robust white emergency fitting delivers 300 lumens of clear 6000K daylight-white illumination, helping occupants identify their surroundings and move safely during a mains power failure.

The fitting can be configured for maintained or non-maintained operation. In maintained mode, the light can operate during normal conditions and remain illuminated during a power cut. In non-maintained mode, the emergency light activates when the permanent mains supply fails.

Selectable manual or automatic self-testing

The JCEM110016WH allows the installer to select manual testing or automatic self-test operation. Self-test mode performs scheduled checks of the battery, LED module and emergency duration, reducing the need to initiate every routine test manually.

A bi-colour indicator communicates the fitting’s operational condition. Green indicates normal operation or an active test, while red indicator patterns identify battery, lamp or duration faults. Emergency lighting records and periodic visual inspections are still required as part of the building’s maintenance programme.

Three-hour emergency operation

The integrated LiFePO₄ battery provides a minimum three-hour emergency duration following a full 24-hour initial charge. This lithium battery technology is designed for dependable emergency performance and is covered by JCC’s five-year warranty.

The fitting produces its full 300-lumen output in emergency mode, with a wide 120° beam angle helping distribute illumination across corridors, walkways and escape routes.

IP66 protection for demanding locations

An IP66-rated enclosure provides complete protection against dust and resistance to powerful water jets. This makes the EscapeLUX bulkhead suitable for many demanding indoor and correctly specified exterior applications, including warehouses, car parks, loading areas, industrial buildings and exposed circulation routes.

The fitting should not be submerged or installed where it will be exposed to continuous running water. Suitable cable glands, conduit connections and installation methods must be used to maintain its IP66 protection.

Installer-friendly mounting and cable entry

Four-way conduit entry provides flexibility when planning surface wiring routes. Compatibility with BESA mounting arrangements can simplify replacement and new-build installation, while the screw-fixed enclosure can be mounted on a suitable wall or surface.

Exit legends are included, allowing the bulkhead to provide both emergency illumination and directional exit identification where required by the emergency lighting design.
