JCC JCEM110015WH EscapeLUX High-Output IP66 Emergency Bulkhead
Provide powerful emergency illumination across larger commercial and industrial spaces with the JCC JCEM110015WH EscapeLUX high-output emergency bulkhead. Its selectable 1,000 or 1,500-lumen output delivers considerably more emergency light than a standard low-output bulkhead, making it particularly useful for warehouses, factories, loading areas, covered car parks and wide escape routes.
This white surface-mounted fitting combines high emergency output with IP66 protection, a three-hour LiFePO₄ battery, selectable manual or automatic self-testing and installer-selectable 6.5W or 10W emergency settings.
High-output emergency lighting
The JCEM110015WH provides selectable 1,000 or 1,500-lumen emergency output. This flexibility allows the emergency lighting designer to specify the appropriate setting for the mounting height, spacing, escape-route dimensions and required illumination level.
A wide 130° beam angle distributes light across a broad area, helping reduce the number of dark sections along larger circulation spaces. The fitting also delivers 100% of its specified light output ratio while operating in emergency mode.
The required setting and quantity of luminaires must be established through suitable emergency lighting calculations rather than wattage or lumen output alone.
Non-maintained emergency operation
The JCEM110015WH is a non-maintained emergency fitting. It remains off while the normal mains supply is available and automatically illuminates from its internal battery when the permanent supply fails.
This makes it a practical choice where dedicated emergency illumination is required without the fitting operating continuously during normal building use.
Manual or automatic self-test selection
The installer can configure the bulkhead for manual testing or automatic self-test operation. In self-test mode, the fitting performs scheduled checks of the battery, LED module and emergency duration.
A bi-colour indicator communicates the fitting’s condition. Green indicates normal operation or an active test, while red indicator patterns identify battery, lamp or duration faults.
Self-testing can simplify scheduled maintenance, but building operators must still perform visual inspections, investigate faults and maintain accurate emergency lighting records.
Three-hour LiFePO₄ battery performance
The integrated 6.4V 6.6Ah LiFePO₄ battery provides a minimum three-hour emergency duration after the fitting has received the required initial 24-hour uninterrupted charge.
JCC provides a five-year warranty that includes the emergency battery, giving contractors and facilities teams additional confidence when specifying the product for commercial installations.
IP66 protection for demanding environments
The IP66 enclosure is dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets. This makes the bulkhead suitable for demanding indoor locations and many correctly designed exterior applications.
Typical installations include industrial buildings, warehouses, plant rooms, covered service areas, loading bays, transport facilities and car parks. Suitable cable glands and sealing methods must be used to preserve the IP rating of the completed installation.
Practical installation features
Four-way conduit entry allows electricians to approach the fitting from different directions when installing surface wiring. BESA mounting compatibility also supports straightforward positioning during new installations and suitable replacement projects.
The screw-fixed white enclosure measures 321mm × 83mm × 167mm and can be mounted to an appropriate wall or surface.
