JCC JC73013 Parluma All-Black TRIAC Dimmable IP65 Downlight

The JCC Parluma JC73013 is the choice for a fully dark downlight finish with dimming control. Its black bezel and black reflector give the entire visible fitting a consistent black appearance, suited to contemporary kitchens, dark ceilings, boutique hospitality spaces and carefully designed commercial interiors. Unlike the non-dimmable all-black JC73005, this exact code supports TRIAC leading and trailing edge dimming with compatible controls. 

Before installation, select 4W or 6W to suit the required light output and choose 3000K, 4000K or 5700K for the room’s colour temperature. JCC lists 450 lumens at 4W and 630 lumens at 6W for JC73013. Its 40° beam directs the light over a defined area: useful for a planned row of ceiling lights, circulation spaces or focused lighting over parts of a room. The number and spacing of fittings should reflect the ceiling height and the illumination required. 

The TRIAC dimming gives the customer everyday brightness control after the installation settings have been chosen. The wattage switch, CCT switch and wall dimmer perform different jobs: 4W/6W sets the fitting’s power, 3000K/4000K/5700K sets its colour, and a compatible dimmer adjusts its operating brightness. JCC offers DALI, 1–10V and switch-dim control elsewhere in Parluma, but JC73013 itself is the TRIAC version. 

For electricians replacing an existing fitting, JC73013 is designed for 68–76mm ceiling cut-outs. It has an 84mm outer diameter, a 55mm body depth and an 80mm minimum void requirement. Spring clips secure it in the aperture. Measure the existing hole and ceiling space before ordering; JCC’s installation instructions require clearance around the fitting and say not to cover it with insulation.

What is JCC JC73013?

Can I connect JC73013 to DALI or 1–10V controls?
JC73013 is the TRIAC version. JCC lists DALI, 1–10V and switch-dim options elsewhere in the Parluma range. Use the product code that matches the project’s control system.

Does dimming change the 3000K, 4000K or 5700K colour setting?
The colour temperature is selected separately from dimming. The CCT setting determines the light colour; a compatible dimmer controls brightness. JCC instructs installers to isolate the power before changing the colour selection.
