JCC JC73005 Parluma All Black 4W/6W IP65 LED Downlight
Create a coordinated dark ceiling finish with the JCC Parluma JC73005. Unlike a downlight with a black outer trim and a white centre, this model has both a black bezel and a black reflector. It is a strong visual choice for contemporary kitchens, dark ceiling panels, hospitality interiors, reception areas and commercial spaces where the fitting should blend into a darker design.
The light output can be set to 4W or 6W, and the colour temperature can be selected from 3000K, 4000K or 5700K. That lets an electrician choose a warmer look for a lounge or hospitality space, a neutral white for a kitchen, or a cooler white for a functional area. JCC lists 450 lumens at 4W and 640 lumens at 6W. The 40° beam angle creates a directed spread of light, so the spacing between fittings should be planned for the ceiling height and the area being illuminated.
JC73005 is the non-dimmable all-black Parluma model. It suits installations where a standard switched circuit is required and the installer does not need dimming control. JCC offers TRIAC and other control options elsewhere in the Parluma range, but those features belong to different product codes. Check the exact code before ordering for an existing dimmer, DALI system or 1–10V controls.
The fitting is designed for a 68–76mm ceiling cut-out. It has an 84mm outer diameter, a 55mm fitting depth and a stated 80mm minimum ceiling void. Spring clips secure it in a recessed ceiling opening. For replacement work, measure the hole and check the void above the plasterboard before buying. JCC’s installation instructions also require clearance around the downlight and say it must not be covered with insulation.
JC73005 is IP65 and TP(a) rated. JCC’s installation sheet specifies indoor use only, so it should not be sold as an outdoor soffit fitting solely because it is IP65. The non-dimmable driver has loop-in/loop-out wiring provision with permanent live and earth continuity terminals; the luminaire itself is Class II. JCC lists suitable emergency accessories for the range, but the standard JC73005 is not an emergency downlight on its own.
