A long, bright light that responds to movement

The JCC JC72304MW Skytile Surface Linear is designed for larger dry indoor spaces that benefit from a long ceiling light and microwave on/off movement sensing. The sensor can switch the light on when it detects activity, making this model worth considering for commercial corridors, circulation routes, retail areas and workspaces where use varies throughout the day. Its broad rectangular form gives more visual presence than a narrow batten, while the white finish blends with a light-coloured ceiling. 

JCC lists 7300 lumens of fixed 4700K cool white light and a 120° beam angle. The broad diffuser is suited to general illumination across a larger area. If you are replacing older fluorescent lighting, JCC positions this range as an alternative to a twin-lamp fitting; the number and spacing needed for your premises should still be checked against the room, mounting height and required light levels. 

Set the sensor for how the room is used

The microwave on/off sensor is configurable. JCC’s Skytile Surface instructions show settings for detection area, hold time and an ambient-light threshold. That lets an installer set how readily the light responds to movement, how long it remains on after movement stops, and whether it switches on when the space is already bright. The settings should be tested after installation so the light behaves appropriately in the actual room. 

JC72304MW is the microwave on/off version. JCC lists it as non-dimmable. If you need the light to remain at a lower background level between periods of activity, specify a suitable microwave step-dimming model instead and check that model’s full specification. An emergency battery is not specified for JC72304MW; emergency variants use separate product codes.
