Description

JCC Skydisc 170mm LED Downlight with DALI, 1–10V and Switch Dimming

The JCC Skydisc JC72004 is a white recessed LED downlight for indoor lighting projects that need flexible output and compatible lighting controls. It combines selectable 8W/12W wattage, three colour temperatures and support for DALI, 1–10V and switch dimming.

Part of JCC’s commercial Skydisc CCT range, it provides a practical option for offices, schools, corridors and refurbishment projects. Its IP65 rating also makes it suitable for internal bathroom applications, subject to the correct installation.

Choose the Output and Light Colour

Two wattage settings let the installer select 8W or 12W to suit the lighting design. JCC publishes outputs of 870 and 1,340 lumens, with a broad 110° beam angle for general illumination.

The fitting also offers three white light colours:

  • 3000K warm white for a softer appearance.

  • 4000K cool white for a more neutral look.

  • 5700K daylight for a cooler, crisper appearance.

These options are useful when matching surrounding lighting or choosing the preferred colour during installation. Colour temperature is selected at the fitting, while the dimming system controls brightness.

Flexible Control for Commercial Lighting

This model supports DALI, 1–10V and switch dimming, allowing the installer to select the appropriate control arrangement for the project.

It is particularly useful where a lighting specification calls for these control methods rather than a conventional phase-cut wall dimmer. The driver must be connected to compatible controls using the relevant JCC wiring diagram.

Selecting the correct driver version at the ordering stage helps avoid compatibility problems when the lights are commissioned.

170mm Diameter with a Slim 27mm Body

The downlight fits a 150–160mm ceiling cut-out and has an overall diameter of 170mm. Supplied spring clips secure it in the ceiling, while the white polycarbonate construction gives it a simple finish.

The 27mm body depth is only one part of the space requirement. Allow room for the driver, wiring and the clearance specified in the instructions. The fitting must not be covered with insulation.

Installation and Emergency Options

JCC specifies a loop-in/loop-out driver with permanent live and earth provision. The downlight is also compatible with JCEM002, JCEM002ST and JCEM002DALI emergency packs, allowing an appropriate emergency conversion to be specified separately.

The product is TP(a) rated and intended for indoor use only. Its two-year standard warranty extends to five years when registered within the first year of purchase, subject to JCC’s terms.
