The JCC JC54300 Commercial LED Downlight is a fixed-output recessed fitting designed to provide bright, dependable neutral-white illumination in retail, office and general commercial environments. Its 18W integrated LED light source delivers approximately 1960 lumens, offering an energy-efficient replacement for older compact fluorescent and conventional commercial downlights.

With an IP54 rating, 60-degree beam and practical retrofit dimensions, the JC54300 is suitable for shops, corridors, reception areas, offices, hotels, communal spaces and other interiors where broad, clear general lighting is required.

Bright 4000K commercial lighting

The fitting produces a fixed 4000K neutral-white light. This colour temperature provides a clean, practical appearance without looking as warm as 3000K or as cool as daylight-white lighting.

Broad 60-degree beam

A 60-degree beam angle spreads light across a wider area than a narrow spotlight. This makes the fitting suitable for general room lighting, helping illuminate floors, desks, counters and circulation areas more evenly.

The wider beam can also help reduce strong pools of light between fittings. Final quantities and spacing should still be determined using the ceiling height, room dimensions, surface finishes and required lux level.

Designed for straightforward retrofit work

The JC54300 fits ceiling apertures measuring between 120mm and 130mm. Its visible bezel measures approximately 145mm in diameter, helping cover the edge of the prepared opening and making it useful for suitable replacement projects.

Spring clips secure the downlight within the ceiling. The fitting has an overall depth of approximately 65mm, although JCC specifies a minimum ceiling-void requirement of 150mm. Electricians should confirm the available void before cutting the aperture or ordering fittings.

The product operates directly from a 220–240V supply and uses Class II construction. It is supplied as a complete integrated LED fitting, removing the need for routine lamp replacement.

IP54 protection for demanding interiors

The IP54 rating provides protection against limited dust ingress and splashing water. This makes the JC54300 suitable for a wider range of interior environments than a standard IP20 commercial downlight.

Bathroom or washroom use must be assessed by a qualified electrician according to the installation position, relevant zone, circuit protection and current BS 7671 requirements.

Non-dimmable operation

The JC54300 is a non-dimmable downlight and should be connected to a conventional switched lighting circuit. It must not be connected to a standard LED dimmer, DALI system or 1–10V lighting controller.

For customers who require adjustable brightness or automated lighting control, a compatible dimmable commercial fitting should be specified instead.
