JCC JC47441WH Starscoop 20W Recessed LED Display Spotlight – White, 4000K, Adjustable
The JCC JC47441WH Starscoop is a white, circular recessed LED display spotlight for indoor retail, showroom and other commercial display lighting. JCC’s product-specific page rates the 20W fitting at 2,020 lumens of 4000K neutral white light. Its 36° beam concentrates light on a more defined area than a broad general-lighting downlight, making it useful for highlighting merchandise, display furniture and architectural details.
A display rarely stays the same forever. JC47441WH can rotate through 350° and tilt through 35°, so an installer or authorised maintenance team can redirect the beam when a display moves. That flexibility is the reason to consider a Starscoop over a fixed recessed fitting: the ceiling position can remain while the light is aimed at a different part of the display. Plan the fitting positions and beam overlap around the actual products or surfaces to be illuminated.
A clean recessed finish
The circular white bezel sits neatly in a ceiling, while the die-cast aluminium construction provides a durable fitting body. JCC lists an overall diameter of 145mm, a minimum ceiling void requirement of 150mm and a 120–130mm circular cut-out in the installation sheet. Check those dimensions against the ceiling before making a hole; the overall diameter is not the cut-out size. The installation sheet recommends trying a sample hole in spare material to become familiar with the process.
JC47441WH is intended for indoor use and rated IP20. It is a Class II, 220–240V AC fitting and JCC specifies it as non-dimmable. Its Ra 80 colour rendering provides a useful baseline for general display lighting, although a project with demanding colour-matching needs should be assessed against that requirement. JCC says ceiling insulation must not cover the fitting, and its instructions tell installers not to adjust the factory-set DIP switches.
The integrated LED approach means there is no separate lamp to relamp as part of routine use. For a shop, showroom or display area, that removes one common maintenance task associated with replaceable-lamp spotlights. JCC lists a five-year warranty on its product page; its instructions state that standard cover is two years and extends to five years if registered within the first year of purchase, subject to terms.
