Practical lighting for entrances, utility areas and shared spaces

The JCC JC23401WPR RadiaLED Utility is a compact white LED bulkhead with a prismatic diffuser. Producing 1,150 lumens from 12W, it provides straightforward general lighting for suitable entrances, corridors, garages and utility areas.

Its round shape and white base give it a simple, functional appearance. The textured prismatic cover distinguishes this model from the opal-diffuser versions in the RadiaLED Utility range.

4000K light with a wide spread

The integrated LEDs provide fixed 4000K neutral white light, often described as cool white. It offers a clear appearance for everyday tasks and circulation spaces, while the 120° beam spreads illumination across the surrounding area.

Both the wattage and colour temperature are fixed. There are no power-selection or colour-changing switches to configure, making it easy to specify when you need a consistent 12W, 4000K fitting.

Weather-resistant construction

With an IP65 rating, the JC23401WPR offers protection against dust ingress and water jets when correctly installed. JCC also identifies its corrosion-resistant construction as suitable for coastal locations.

The polycarbonate body and diffuser have an IK09 impact rating, making this a practical option for locations where a more robust light fitting is useful. Impact resistance does not make the fitting indestructible, but it provides a useful specification for communal and utility lighting.

Compact dimensions for replacement projects

JCC describes this as a nominal 205mm bulkhead, while its technical specification lists dimensions of 203mm diameter × 85mm depth.

For replacement work, compare those measurements with the existing fitting and any marks or openings on the mounting surface. Check fixing positions and cable entry as well as the overall size.

Suitable for wall or ceiling installation

JCC’s installation instructions permit indoor and exterior use on a wall or ceiling. The fitting is back-fixed to the mounting surface, with access to the electrical connections beneath the LED tray.

This is a Class I fitting and must be earthed. Installation and sealing should follow the manufacturer’s instructions, particularly where the light is exposed to weather.

JC23401WPR is a standard mains LED bulkhead with a prismatic diffuser and non-dimmable operation. If your project needs automatic dusk-to-dawn switching, movement detection or emergency battery backup, specify the appropriate version separately.
