Everyday lighting, movement control and emergency provision in one batten

The JCC Skypack Pro JC100205 brings together three useful functions in a single 4ft LED batten: bright everyday lighting, microwave-controlled dimming and an integrated emergency version. It is suited to indoor corridors, communal areas, stockrooms, utility spaces and commercial interiors where the lighting design calls for all three.

In normal operation, JCC states a 5,680-lumen output with a broad 120° beam. The fitting offers a choice of 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K daylight white, allowing the installer to select the appearance that suits the space. A warmer setting can feel more comfortable in a communal passageway; neutral or daylight white may be preferred in a practical working area. Its clean white housing fits neatly into both new installations and planned replacements for older fluorescent battens. 

Microwave step dimming for spaces with changing footfall

The microwave dimming version is designed to respond to movement and manage its light level according to the sensor’s commissioned settings. This makes JC100205 particularly relevant to spaces that are occupied intermittently but still need a considered lighting arrangement. JCC lists the LEV71932 microwave step dim remote as an accessory for this model. The required detection area and lighting behaviour should be set by the installer for the actual room and mounting position. 

This is specifically a “MW Dim only” fitting in JCC’s technical information. If a project needs a different dimming system, check the relevant Skypack Pro variant. If it needs a microwave sensor that switches the light on and off rather than the microwave dimming version, compare JC100203. 

Emergency lighting built into the specified model

JC100205 is JCC’s microwave dimming emergency variant, with a listed LiFePO4 battery. JCC publishes an emergency-mode LOR figure of 5% for the 42W circuit version. That figure should not be presented as a guaranteed emergency illuminance level for a room: emergency lighting performance depends on the layout, mounting height and the complete lighting design. Have the installer assess the required coverage and commissioning for the site.

JCC lists 42W luminaire circuit wattage and 5,680 lumens for this SKU. Its page heading refers to the broader 4ft family’s 21/27/33/38W settings, while the SKU-specific technical field gives 42W for JC100205. For a product listing, use 42W circuit wattage rather than advertising four selectable circuit wattages for this particular model without confirmation from JCC.
