Description
The JCC JC100202 Skypack Pro CCT combines a 4ft LED batten with microwave on/off movement sensing. It is a useful choice for suitable indoor corridors, offices, utility areas and workspaces where lighting should respond to activity. The clean white fitting offers more than a fixed-output batten: an installer can choose its wattage and white light colour to suit the room.
Select 21W, 27W, 33W or 38W. JCC lists corresponding outputs of 3200, 4050, 4900 and 5680 lumens. That gives a lighting designer scope to choose an appropriate output for the ceiling height, spacing and task. The microwave sensor then controls on/off operation according to movement and its commissioned settings. The power setting is not a wall dimmer: JCC lists this model as non-dimmable.
The fitting also offers 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K cool white. Warm white gives a softer appearance, neutral white is a practical choice for many work areas, and cool white produces a cooler-looking result. Having all three options in one code is helpful when different rooms need matching fittings but different colour appearances. The selected colour and output should be considered as part of the complete lighting layout.
Plan the microwave sensor position
Microwave sensing needs attention to the surroundings. JCC’s placement guide explains that microwave signals can pass through some building materials, which may cause unwanted activation in certain installations. It also advises care around metal, reflective surfaces, vibrations and nearby sensors. A competent installer should choose the position, commission the sensing area and test the result in the finished room. The LEV71930 microwave on/off remote is listed as an accessory for the sensor range; check whether it is required for your planned setup and include it separately if needed.
Designed for electricians
JC100202 includes a hanging LED tray for installation access, press-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals, and rear and end cable entry options. JCC also lists flexible mounting positions, keyhole BESA points, cable restraints and clip-in end caps. Its actual dimensions are 1220 × 73.4 × 70mm, so the installer can check the ceiling space and compare it with an existing 4ft fitting.
