Description

The JCC JC100201 Skypack Pro CCT provides bright everyday lighting with a built-in emergency function. Its clean white housing suits dry indoor corridors, offices, classrooms and work areas where the lighting plan calls for both normal illumination and battery backed lighting during a mains failure. The fitting is 1220mm long, making it a practical 4ft option for new installations and carefully checked batten replacements.

There is room to tailor the light to the space. Choose 3000K warm white for a softer appearance, 4000K neutral white for a balanced work setting, or 5700K cool white for a cooler-looking result. The installer can also select between four normal-light output settings. JCC lists 3200, 4050, 4900 and 5680 lumens, giving a designer options when planning fitting spacing and mounting height. The required setting should be chosen for the complete room, rather than by wattage alone.

Understand the two wattage descriptions

JCC’s headline describes 21W, 27W, 33W and 38W selectable light settings. Its electrical table for the JC100201 emergency fitting gives 25W, 31W, 37W and 42W luminaire circuit wattages. That distinction matters if an electrician is calculating the connected load: use the circuit figures for this emergency product code. JC100200 is the related standard, non-emergency model and has different circuit wattages.

FAQ's

Does JC100201 include an emergency battery?
Yes. JCC lists emergency operation and a LiFePO4 battery for this exact product code. It is the emergency version of the 4ft Skypack Pro CCT batten.

What is the difference between JC100200 and JC100201?
JC100201 includes emergency backup; JC100200 is the standard version. Their listed normal lumen outputs are the same, but the emergency version has higher stated luminaire circuit wattages. Choose the code that matches the project’s emergency lighting schedule.

Will it continue to give light during a power failure?
Its emergency function is intended to provide reduced illumination when the normal supply fails, provided it has been correctly installed, charged, commissioned and maintained. The installer should test that operation as part of the building’s emergency lighting system.

Does it deliver 5680 lumens on battery power?
No. 5680 lumens is the highest listed normal output. JCC separately gives an emergency light output ratio of 8%, 6%, 5% or 5% according to the selected setting. Emergency coverage needs its own design calculation.

Can one batten provide all the emergency light needed in a corridor?
That depends on the corridor’s dimensions, obstructions, mounting positions and the applicable emergency lighting design. A product’s emergency feature does not establish how many fittings the whole space needs.

Is this a self-test emergency fitting?
JCC’s JC100201 page identifies emergency operation, but it does not clearly specify self-test for this code. Do not advertise automatic self-testing unless it is confirmed in the SKU-specific documentation or on the supplied emergency module.

Why do I see both 21–38W and 25–42W?
JCC describes selectable 21/27/33/38W light settings in the features, while its electrical table lists 25/31/37/42W luminaire circuit wattage for the emergency model. Use the circuit figures when planning the electrical load of JC100201.

What are the normal lumen outputs?
JCC lists 3200, 4050, 4900 and 5680 lumens across the four settings. The illumination reaching a desk, worktop or floor depends on the complete layout and selected colour setting.
