One 4ft batten, more ways to light the room

The JCC JC100200 Skypack Pro CCT is a versatile 4ft LED batten for indoor spaces where the preferred brightness and light colour may vary from one room to the next. It gives an installer four wattage settings and three colour temperatures in one white fitting. That makes it a useful choice for offices, classrooms, corridors, utility areas and other suitable workspaces when a fixed-output, fixed-colour light would limit the design. 

Choose 21W, 27W, 33W or 38W to suit the planned lighting layout. JCC lists corresponding outputs of 3200, 4050, 4900 and 5680 lumens. A smaller room or lower mounting position may call for a lower setting; a larger area may need more output or additional fittings. The right choice depends on the whole space, including ceiling height, room surfaces and the light level required where people actually work.

You can also select 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K cool white. Warm white gives a softer appearance, neutral white suits many everyday work areas, and cool white gives a noticeably cooler-looking light. The ability to set the colour during installation is useful when different rooms on a project need a consistent fitting style but a different lighting feel. The published outputs should be checked against JCC’s photometry for the selected wattage and colour when designing a specified lighting scheme. 

Designed with installation in mind

JC100200 has a suspended LED tray to help the installer reach the connections, press-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals, and cable entry options at the rear and end. JCC also lists flexible cross-mount fixing points, keyhole BESA mounting points, cable restraints and clip-in end caps. These details can be valuable when installing a row of battens or working with an existing ceiling position. Its actual overall size is 1220 × 73.4 × 70mm, so check that measurement against any old 4ft fitting before ordering a replacement.
