The JCC JC100103 Skypack Pro is a 4ft commercial LED batten combining powerful illumination, automatic microwave on/off control and three-hour emergency backup. Designed for electricians and commercial contractors, it provides a complete lighting and safety solution for corridors, stairwells, offices, schools, apartment buildings, storage rooms and industrial premises.

The integrated LED light source produces 2950 lumens of clear 4000K neutral white light. Its wide 120-degree beam distributes illumination evenly across workplaces and circulation areas, while CRI 80 supports clear everyday visibility.

JC100103 incorporates a 5.8GHz microwave movement sensor that switches the batten on when occupancy is detected. After the selected hold time expires without further movement, the light switches off automatically. This straightforward on/off operation helps reduce unnecessary energy consumption in areas with intermittent occupancy.

Electricians can configure the sensor’s detection area, hold time and lux threshold using the internal DIP switches. The sensor supports installation heights between approximately 2.5 and 6 metres, with a stated detection range of approximately 4 to 7 metres when installed at a height of 3 metres.

During a mains power failure, the built-in emergency system provides at least three hours of backup illumination. The rechargeable 6.4V 1600mAh LiFePO4 battery incorporates deep-discharge protection and requires approximately 24 hours to recharge fully. Emergency output is stated as 10% of the normal lumen output.

JCC describes the product as a 20W Skypack Pro batten, while its current technical information lists a total luminaire circuit load of 24W for this sensor-and-emergency configuration. This accounts for the additional control and emergency components.

Installation is simplified by intelligent press-release buttons and a suspended internal LED tray, providing electricians with easier access during wiring. Press-fit loop-in, loop-out terminals, rear and end conduit entries, flexible cross-mount points and keyhole BESA fixings support several installation arrangements.

The fitting can be mounted directly onto a suitable surface or suspended using the separately available JC100160 suspension kit. Its protection rating changes according to the installation method: IP40 when surface mounted and IP20 when suspended.
