The integrated 180-degree PIR motion sensor provides detection at distances of up to 10 metres when mounted at approximately 2.5 metres. Both the 10–2000 lux activation level and the illumination time—from 10 seconds to seven minutes—can be adjusted to suit the installation. A manual override function also allows the floodlight to remain switched on when continuous outdoor lighting is required.

Designed for demanding exterior installations, the JCC Niteflood JC091004 PIR floodlight carries an IP65 weatherproof rating, including the PIR sensor. Its breather gland helps protect the fitting against condensation, while the opal glass diffuser reduces glare and distributes light across a wide 100-degree beam angle.
