The JCC Starspot JC088123 is a black 7.5W LED track spotlight for indoor retail and display lighting. It produces 995 lumens of fixed 4000K cool white light through a 35° beam, helping direct attention towards merchandise, shelving and interior features.

This version combines TRIAC dimming with a three-circuit track connection, making it a useful option where the lighting design calls for adjustable brightness and selectable circuit assignment.

Match the Spotlight to Your Track System

JC088123 is designed for the JCC mains three-circuit track system. Its adaptor includes a selector that allows the installer to choose the required circuit.

Where the track installation has been wired and controlled accordingly, fittings can be assigned to different lighting groups. This can be useful when arranging separate groups for a shop window, display shelving and another area within the same space.

The selector chooses the electrical circuit. It does not alter the light colour or provide brightness adjustment by itself.

Cool White Light with a Focused Beam

The 4000K colour temperature gives a cooler appearance than a 3000K warm white fitting. Check the colour of existing lights before adding new spotlights, particularly where several fittings illuminate the same display.

The 35° beam provides directional illumination. Its coverage depends on the distance and angle to the surface being lit, so plan the layout around the display rather than using wattage alone to determine spacing.

JCC specifies CRI Ra 80 and identifies the product as suitable for retail applications, with no UV output. Displays with particular colour-quality or conservation requirements should be assessed against their own lighting brief.

TRIAC Dimming for Brightness Control

A compatible TRIAC dimming arrangement allows brightness to be adjusted to suit the room and display. The installer should check LED dimmer compatibility, loading and performance across the intended operating range.

This model is not advertised as DALI, 1–10V or remotely colour-tunable. Its 4000K light colour remains the specified colour when dimmed.
