The JCC JC070305 RadiaLED Rapid Pro is a robust IP65 LED bulkhead combining microwave on/off control, three-hour emergency lighting and selectable performance in one complete fitting. Supplied with a white rim, it is a practical choice for electricians working in communal buildings, apartment blocks, corridors, stairwells, schools, offices, washrooms and demanding commercial environments.

Selectable wattage allows the installer to configure the fitting according to the size and purpose of the space. Choose 8W for 880 lumens in smaller circulation areas or 12W for a brighter 1300-lumen output.

Three selectable colour temperatures provide even greater flexibility:

• 3000K warm white for welcoming residential and hospitality areas
• 4000K neutral white for corridors, offices and communal buildings
• 5700K daylight white for functional and utility environments

The integrated 5.8GHz microwave sensor automatically switches the light on when movement is detected and switches it off after the selected hold time. Detection area, hold time and light-level settings can be adjusted using the internal DIP switches, helping installers tailor its operation to the building and reduce unnecessary energy consumption.

Unlike a microwave dimming bulkhead, JC070305 provides straightforward sensor-controlled on/off operation. This makes it well suited to areas where full illumination is required whenever somebody enters, but continuous background lighting is unnecessary.

During a mains power failure, the emergency function provides a minimum three hours of backup illumination. The rechargeable 3.2V 2Ah LiFePO4 battery incorporates deep-discharge protection and requires approximately 24 hours to recharge fully.

The durable polycarbonate construction carries both IP65 and IK10 ratings, providing protection against dust, water jets and physical impact when correctly installed. It is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting and is listed for applicable Zone 1 installations, subject to current regulations and a suitable site assessment.

Installation is simplified by JCC’s clip-in, tool-less LED gear tray. Four side-mounted 20mm conduit entry points provide electricians with flexible cable-routing options for surface-mounted wiring.
