The JCC JC070270 RadiaLED Rapid Pro Slim is a white IP65 LED bulkhead with an integrated microwave on/off sensor, selectable wattage and three adjustable colour temperatures. Designed for reliable automatic lighting, it is ideal for corridors, stairwells, communal entrances, toilets, utility rooms, apartment buildings, offices and commercial premises.

The built-in microwave sensor detects movement and automatically switches the light on, helping reduce unnecessary energy use in areas that are only occupied occasionally. Electricians can configure the detection area, daylight threshold and hold time to suit the installation. Available hold-time settings include 5 seconds, 90 seconds, 5 minutes and 15 minutes, while the daylight control can be adjusted or disabled when operation is required regardless of ambient light levels.

A selectable wattage switch allows the JC070270 to operate at either 12W or 18W. The 12W setting delivers 1,335 lumens for efficient general lighting, while the 18W setting increases the output to 1,850 lumens for larger or brighter spaces.

The integrated CCT selector provides a choice of three light colours:

• 3000K warm white for welcoming entrances and residential communal areas
• 4000K neutral white for corridors, offices and everyday commercial lighting
• 5700K daylight white for task-focused and functional environments

With a diameter of 300mm and a slim depth of approximately 69.3mm, this surface-mounted bulkhead provides strong illumination without appearing excessively bulky. Its wide 120° beam angle distributes light evenly across the surrounding area.

The IP65-rated enclosure protects the fitting against dust and water jets, making it suitable for correctly installed indoor and exterior applications. It should not be positioned close to continually running water. The bulkhead can be mounted on either a wall or ceiling, with JCC specifying a maximum wall-mounting height of 2 metres for the microwave-sensor configuration.

Installers benefit from the hinged LED gear tray, which lifts out of the way to provide easier access to the cable entry and terminal connections. Central BESA fixing holes and conventional screw-fixing points provide additional installation flexibility.

The RadiaLED Rapid Pro platform also supports a compatible plug-and-play emergency pack, available separately, allowing the fitting to be upgraded where three-hour emergency lighting is required.
