The JCC JC050022 Toughflood Pro Marine Asymmetric LED floodlight gives contractors three output choices in one fitting: 150W, 225W or 300W. JCC lists corresponding outputs of 23,530, 35,290 and 45,250 lumens. This makes it a substantial outdoor lighting option for coastal premises, industrial yards, large loading areas and other sites that need high light output from a carefully planned installation. Select the wattage to suit the lighting design rather than automatically using the maximum setting.
Its 125° × 30° asymmetric beam is shaped to direct light across an area from an appropriate mounting position. JCC says this optic can allow wider spacing between fittings, potentially reducing the number required. The actual spacing depends on mounting height, aiming, obstructions and the target lux and uniformity. For a project with measured requirements, use the current photometric file rather than treating the beam angle or maximum lumen figure as a coverage guarantee.
Three white-light choices for the finished site
The installer can also choose 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K daylight white. This lets the lighting scheme balance the appearance of the site with its practical use. JCC’s instructions show that 4000K and full output are the factory defaults. Wattage and colour are selected on the fitting beneath a cover, which must be refitted and sealed correctly after commissioning. These are selectable fixed settings; JCC specifies JC050022 as non-dimmable.
Marine-range protection and a configurable photocell
JCC identifies JC050022 as a Marine floodlight and states that it has passed 1,000 hours of salt-spray and corrosion-resistance testing. The grey fitting is rated IP66 against dust and water ingress and IK08 for impact protection. Its stated operating temperature range is −40°C to +50°C. These are useful selection points for an exposed installation, alongside the site’s mounting, connection and maintenance requirements.
