The JCC JC050021 Toughflood Pro Marine Asymmetric LED floodlight is a flexible choice for demanding outdoor lighting projects. In one grey fitting, the installer can select 100W, 150W or 200W and choose 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K daylight white. A 125° × 30° asymmetric beam is designed to distribute light across an area from appropriately positioned fittings. JCC says this beam can allow wider fitting spacing, though the actual quantity required must be established from the site layout and photometry. 

The product page lists outputs of 15,600 lumens at 100W, 23,400 lumens at 150W and 30,320 lumens at 200W. These choices let a contractor set the output for a particular installation instead of stocking separate fixed-wattage versions. Light level on the ground still depends on mounting height, aiming, colour setting and the design of the space, so use the product’s photometric file where a measured lux or uniformity target applies. 

Built for exposed and coastal environments

JC050021 belongs to JCC’s Marine range and has been salt-spray and corrosion-resistance tested for 1,000 hours. JCC also lists IP66 protection against dust and water ingress and IK08 impact protection. These specifications make it a relevant product to assess for coastal premises, exposed industrial sites, external yards and building perimeters where the environmental demands are higher. Correct fixing, cable connection and maintenance remain important to long-term performance. JCC advises against installation in areas exposed to continual running water or flooding.

It is one selectable-wattage fitting. The installer chooses 100W, 150W or 200W during setup. JCC lists respective outputs of 15,600, 23,400 and 30,320 lumens.

Can I choose warm white light for a coastal hotel or outdoor seating area?
Yes. JC050021 has 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K daylight white settings. The installer selects the preferred setting on the fitting. Check the lighting design to ensure the resulting light level and appearance suit the space.

Is the photocell already set to turn the light on automatically?
No. JCC’s instruction sheet lists the photocell as disabled by default. If you want automatic operation according to ambient light, have the electrician select one of the photocell modes during commissioning.

Does the photocell detect people walking past?
No. A photocell responds to ambient light levels. JC050021 does not list a built-in PIR movement sensor.

Which photocell settings are available?
JCC shows 25 lux on / 75 lux off, 200 lux on / 600 lux off, and Disable. The installer should choose the setting that matches the site’s intended operation.

What makes this a marine floodlight?
JCC identifies it as a Marine product and states that it has undergone 1,000 hours of salt-spray and corrosion-resistance testing. It also lists IP66 and IK08 protection. Those claims do not remove the need for suitable installation and maintenance in a coastal environment
