Description

JCC JC050015 Toughflood Pro Asymmetric 100W LED Floodlight – 12,750 Lumens, IP65 IK08 Black

The JCC JC050015 Toughflood Pro Asymmetric LED floodlight gives commercial lighting designers a different beam shape from a conventional broad floodlight. This 100W black fitting is rated at 12,750 lumens on JCC’s exact product page and produces fixed 4000K neutral white light. Its 120° × 65° asymmetric lens is intended to direct light across a defined area, making the fitting worth considering for the edge of a yard, a loading area, a building frontage or an access route.

The beam is the reason to choose JC050015 carefully. JCC’s 100W symmetric JC050011 lists a 110° beam, while this asymmetric model lists 120° × 65°. Both product pages show 12,750 lumens, but equal lumens do not mean the two fittings put the same amount of light on every part of a site. Mounting position, aim and the shape of the working area determine which optic is more useful. Use the photometric files for a project with specified lux and uniformity targets.

Aim the light to suit the installation

JC050015 has a 180° tiltable bracket, giving the installer flexibility to set its angle once the fitting is mounted. That helps when a floodlight must be positioned on a building wall or perimeter and aimed across the area that needs lighting. The fitting is surface mounted, supplied with 1m of pre-wired flex, and measures 257.6 × 310.3 × 55.7mm. Its black finish and slim body make it a tidy choice for a visible commercial exterior.

JCC specifies IP65 protection against dust and moisture and IK08 impact protection for this code, plus an operating temperature range of −25°C to +50°C. The protection ratings do not replace good installation practice: JCC calls for a stable, flat mounting surface and advises against locations exposed to continual running water or flooding.
