JCC JC050006 Toughflood Commercial 100W LED Floodlight – 10,800 Lumens, IP65 IK08 Black

The JCC JC050006 Toughflood Commercial LED floodlight delivers 10,800 lumens from a 100W fitting, with 4000K neutral white light spread through a 110° beam. It is a practical option for commercial building exteriors, yard entrances, loading areas and other outdoor working spaces where a smaller domestic floodlight may not provide the required output. Plan the number and position of fittings around the dimensions and light-level needs of the site. 

This model includes installation details that matter to electricians. It comes with a 2m pre-wired H05RN-F cable for exterior applications, giving more cable length than many compact floodlights. JCC specifies an ADC12 die-cast aluminium body and a 55° angled galvanised-steel bracket that helps provide access to the fixing points. The black fitting measures 322 × 265 × 38mm and is intended for wall mounting with suitable fixings, which are not supplied. 

Protection for an outdoor working area

JCC lists IP65 dust and moisture protection and an IK08 impact rating. The specified operating temperature range is −20°C to +40°C. Its polycarbonate diffuser is described by JCC as suitable for food-preparation applications, which may be useful when assessing lighting for relevant commercial premises. The overall installation still needs to meet the particular site’s hygiene and electrical requirements.

Is a 100W, 10,800-lumen floodlight enough for my yard?
It may light a particular section or a smaller yard, but one fitting cannot be assumed to cover every site. JC050006 has a 10,800-lumen output and 110° beam. The required quantity depends on yard size, mounting height and target light level.

How much brighter is JC050006 than the 70W JC050005?
JCC’s technical information lists JC050006 at 10,800 lumens and JC050005 at 7,400 lumens. That is 3,400 more listed lumens for the 100W model. Both have a 110° beam.

Is JC050006 the same as the 100W Toughflood Pro JC050011?
No. JC050006 is the Toughflood Commercial model with a 2m H05RN-F cable and 10,800 lumens. The JC050011 Toughflood Pro Commercial product page lists 12,750 lumens and 1m of pre-wired flex. Check the complete code before ordering.

Does it switch on automatically when someone approaches?
JCC does not list a built-in PIR for JC050006. If you need motion activation, ask your electrician to select a suitable external sensor and switching arrangement.

Can this floodlight be dimmed?
No. JCC specifies non-dimmable operation for JC050006.

Is 4000K warm white or daylight white?
4000K is neutral white. JC050006 has a fixed 4000K output; JCC does not list a colour-selection switch for this model.

How high can I mount the fitting?
JCC’s Toughflood Commercial installation sheet states a maximum mounting height of 5m. Confirm the planned mounting point and light-level requirement before purchase.

Is it appropriate for a food-preparation area?
JCC describes the polycarbonate diffuser as suitable for food preparation. The site manager and installer should still check the complete installation against the area’s specific hygiene and safety requirements.
