The 4000K light has a cool white appearance that suits projects seeking a clear, neutral-looking result. In a shop or showroom, use it to illuminate merchandise and display shelving. At home, consider it for suitable kitchen work areas, a home office or a feature wall where directed light will support the room’s use.

Start with what needs lighting, then plan the spotlight positions around it. This helps you put the output to work rather than simply arranging fittings at equal distances along the ceiling.

An adjustable head with a 35° beam

The spotlight’s direction can be adjusted to aim the beam towards the chosen area. That makes it easier to refine the lighting once furniture, shelving or displays are in position.

Its 35° beam creates a defined spread of light. Mounting distance affects the result: a closer fitting produces a smaller pool, while a greater distance gives a wider spread. For a long display or work surface, plan several fittings with suitable overlap.

With a published efficacy of 138 lumens per circuit watt, the JC014237 combines a useful light output with a modest rated power.

When choosing quantities, consider the surfaces being lit, mounting height and other lighting in the room. Total lumen output alone does not tell you how evenly a space will be illuminated.

A fixed 4000K, non-dimmable model

This version is specified at 4000K and is non-dimmable. Select it when a consistent cool white output and straightforward switching suit the installation.

JCC also specifies CRI Ra 80 and no UV output, and identifies the Starspot range as suitable for retail applications.

Designed for JCC single-circuit track

The JC014237 is intended for the JCC mains single-circuit track system. For an existing installation, confirm the rail reference before ordering. For a new layout, plan compatible track, a power feed and the required connectors alongside the spotlights.
