Unlike an integrated LED fitting, this downlight uses a replaceable GU10 LED lamp up to 7W, giving homeowners and electricians the freedom to select the preferred colour temperature, brightness, beam angle and dimming performance. The lamp can also be replaced without changing the complete downlight. Please note that the GU10 lamp is sold separately.

Designed for Bathrooms

The IP65-rated construction protects the downlight against dust and water jets. JCC’s product datasheet lists the fitting as suitable for bathroom Zone 1, subject to installation in accordance with current wiring regulations. Its enclosed showerlight design creates a cleaner appearance than an open GU10 fitting while the brushed nickel bezel complements modern taps, handles and bathroom accessories.

Tested Fire-Rated Protection

The JCC Fireguard Next Generation range is tested for use in fire-rated ceilings, including compatible solid joist, I-joist and steel open-web joist constructions. The fitting also complies with the relevant requirements of Building Regulations Parts B, C and E.

The die-cast aluminium bezel provides a strong, high-quality finish, while the spring-clip mounting system holds the downlight securely within the ceiling.

Faster Installation for Electricians

An ultra-fast press-fit loop-in/loop-out terminal helps simplify wiring across multiple downlights. The fitting requires a 74mm ceiling cut-out, supports ceiling thicknesses up to 30mm and needs a minimum ceiling void of 150mm.
