Helvar LC43MINI-DA-150-1050 42W DALI-2 Dimmable LED Driver

The Helvar LC43MINI-DA-150-1050 is a compact 42W DALI-2 dimmable constant-current LED driver designed for built-in use within compatible LED luminaires. It provides a wide adjustable output current range from 150mA to 1050mA, making it suitable for a broad range of professional LED lighting applications.

The output current is selected using integrated DIP switches, allowing the driver to be configured to match the requirements of the connected LED module. Depending on the selected current, the driver provides an output voltage range of up to 2.5V–52V, with the maximum output power rated at 42W.

The LC43MINI-DA-150-1050 uses DALI-2 control and supports a 1%–100% dimming range using amplitude dimming technology. It also features Push to Fade functionality, providing smooth dimming transitions where compatible control equipment is used.

With SELV output protection, the Helvar LC43MINI-DA-150-1050 provides flexibility for Class I, Class II and Class III luminaires. Optional strain relief accessories are available for Class III SELV applications where the driver needs to be used independently outside the luminaire.

The compact driver measures approximately 97 × 43 × 30mm, making it suitable for space-conscious luminaire designs. It has an IP20 rating, operates across an ambient temperature range of approximately -20°C to +40°C, and has a maximum tc point temperature of 85°C.

The driver also incorporates overload, open-circuit and short-circuit protection, low current ripple and compliance with the IEEE 1789 recommendation for flicker performance. Helvar states that the driver is suitable for emergency lighting applications when used in accordance with the specified requirements.
