The DALCNET SLIM-CBU-DMX is a compact wireless protocol converter designed to integrate Casambi lighting controls with DMX lighting networks. Casambi to DMX and DMX to Casambi Conversion

The SLIM-CBU-DMX supports two operating modes.

Master mode: The converter receives commands from a Casambi mesh network or the Casambi app and translates them into DMX control signals. This allows Casambi controls to operate compatible DMX lighting equipment.

Slave mode: The converter receives commands from a DMX bus and translates them into commands for a Casambi network. This allows DMX control equipment to interact with compatible Casambi enabled devices.

The operating mode and relevant control profiles can be configured through the Casambi app. Depending on the selected profile, the unit can support independent dimming channels or other supported DMX control arrangements.

Flexible DMX Lighting Control

The SLIM-CBU-DMX supports a range of configurable DMX profiles. Depending on the selected profile and operating conditions, it can control up to 12 DMX channels in Master mode or receive up to 8 DMX channels in Slave mode.

A normally open push button input provides additional local control. Built in protection features include overvoltage protection and input fuse protection, helping protect the control electronics.
