The Crabtree Starbreaker 61/BM2530 25A 30mA Type A RCBO is a compact, miniature bi-directional circuit-protection device designed for compatible Crabtree Starbreaker consumer units. It combines a 25A B-curve miniature circuit-breaker function with 30mA Type A residual-current protection, providing overcurrent and earth-leakage protection within one space-saving module.
Designed with a single protected pole and concurrently switched neutral, the Crabtree 61/BM2530 has two poles in total and disconnects the neutral conductor when operated. Its bi-directional construction makes it suitable for compatible electrical systems where current may flow in either direction, subject to circuit design and installation requirements.
The RCBO has a rated current of 25A, a residual operating current of 30mA and a Type B release characteristic. Its rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 6kA in accordance with IEC 61009-1, while Class 3 current-limiting performance helps restrict fault energy during a short circuit.
