Description

The Crabtree Starbreaker 380/A030 80A 30mA Type A RCCB is a high-quality residual-current circuit breaker designed for compatible Crabtree Starbreaker consumer units. It provides double-pole residual-current protection, simultaneously disconnecting both poles when a qualifying earth-leakage fault is detected.

Rated at 80A with 30mA residual-current sensitivity, the Crabtree 380/A030 is suitable for installations requiring additional protection against electric shock and earth-leakage faults. Its Type A detection characteristic is designed to respond to sinusoidal alternating residual currents and pulsating direct residual currents associated with many modern electrical appliances and electronic loads.

The RCCB is rated for 230V AC operation at 50Hz and has a rated insulation voltage of 400V. A 4kV impulse-withstand rating supports dependable performance within compatible fixed electrical-distribution systems subject to correctly designed installation conditions.
