Description

Collingwood WLHA1N Halo 12W CCT Selectable IP65 Anthracite Outdoor LED Wall Light

The Collingwood WLHA1N Halo Wall Light combines useful outdoor illumination with a distinctive ring of light around the fitting. Its 360-degree halo effect adds a soft glow to the wall, while the luminaire’s 110° beam provides practical light for an entrance or other wall-mounted location. Finished in anthracite grey, it suits projects where a plain exterior bulkhead would feel too utilitarian.

The WLHA1N is the standard 12W version of the Halo range. It has three selectable white-light settings — 3000K, 4000K and 5700K — so the installer can choose the appearance that suits the building. Collingwood sets the light to 3000K by default. That warm white setting creates a welcoming look at an entrance; 4000K offers a more neutral white, while 5700K gives a cooler daylight-white appearance.

Decorative enough for the front door, robust enough for outside

This outdoor LED wall light is rated IP65 for ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance. Collingwood lists it as suitable for coastal applications. Its polycarbonate body and anthracite grey finish make it a considered choice for exposed building entrances, outside walls, communal access areas and properties near the coast. The suitability of the mounting surface, wiring and final position should be checked as part of the installation.

The WLHA1N measures 235mm × 235mm across its listed face dimensions. It can be used as one feature light beside a doorway or repeated along a wall for a consistent appearance. For a row of lights, consider their spacing and the light needed on paths, doors or steps rather than choosing positions by appearance alone.

FAQ's

Is WLHA1N suitable for an outside wall?
Yes. Collingwood presents the Halo as an exterior-capable wall light and gives IP65 ingress and IK10 impact ratings. The electrician should install it in accordance with the supplied instructions and the conditions at the chosen location.

What does the “halo” effect look like?
Collingwood describes a soft, 360-degree glow around the fitting. It creates a visible ring of light that adds interest to the wall as well as the light provided by the luminaire.

Does 360 degrees mean it has a 360° beam angle?
No. 360 degrees describes the decorative halo effect. Collingwood lists the WLHA1N’s beam angle separately as 110°.

Can I choose between warm and cool white?
Yes. The WLHA1N can be set to 3000K, 4000K or 5700K. It is set to 3000K as standard.

How bright is the WLHA1N?
It produces 1,250 lumens at 3000K, 1,300 lumens at 4000K and 1,350 lumens at 5700K, according to Collingwood’s product sheet.

Is this a motion-sensor wall light?
No. WLHA1N has no built-in sensor. If an integral microwave sensor is required, check the separate WLHA1M version.

Does it switch itself off during daylight?
The standard WLHA1N has no integral daylight or presence sensor listed. Collingwood describes that automatic behaviour as an option on the sensor-equipped Halo versions.

Is WLHA1N an emergency light?
No. This product code has no emergency function. Collingwood lists WLHA1NE as an emergency variant and WLHA1ME as a sensor-plus-emergency variant.

Can the WLHA1N be dimmed?
No. Collingwood lists no dimming option for this variant. Do not describe its colour-selection feature as dimming: changing CCT changes the colour appearance, not the brightness through a dimmer.

Is it suitable for a property near the sea?
Collingwood explicitly lists the Halo Wall Light as suitable for coastal applications. Follow its installation and care guidance for the specific location.

11. Is the fitting metal?
No. Collingwood lists its construction material as polycarbonate and its finish as anthracite grey RAL7016. Collingwood Lighting
