Description

The Collingwood Ted TR43505 is a 28W LED track spotlight for compatible three-circuit track systems. Its matt black aluminium body, adjustable head and fixed 45° beam make it a useful choice for directing light towards merchandise, shelving and feature areas in shops, showrooms and other dry indoor spaces.

This model is non-dimmable. Its built-in colour selector changes the appearance of the white light, while the track circuit selector assigns the fitting to a lighting group. These are separate functions.

Three white-light settings in one fitting

Choose between 3000K, 3500K and 4000K using the selector on the fitting. The 3000K setting provides warm white light, 3500K offers a middle option, and 4000K gives a cooler white appearance.

Collingwood publishes different light outputs for each setting:

  • 3000K - 2,265 lumens

  • 3500K - 2,365 lumens

  • 4000K - 2,140 lumens

Rated power remains 28W across these settings. Having three options in one model allows the installer to select the light colour alongside the surrounding lighting and interior finishes. Isolate the electrical supply before changing the setting.

Aim the light where it matters

The head provides 355° rotation and 90° tilt, helping you position the beam over the intended display. Its 45° beam angle remains fixed: adjusting the head changes the direction of the light rather than zooming the beam.

The published CRI above 90 supports faithful colour appearance, which is useful when customers are comparing clothing, merchandise or decorative finishes. SDCM3 colour consistency also helps limit visible differences between matching fittings used together.

FAQ's

What is the Collingwood Ted TR43505?

It is a matt black 28W adjustable LED spotlight for compatible three-circuit track. It provides directional accent lighting with selectable 3000K, 3500K and 4000K white-light settings.

Is the TR43505 dimmable?

No. Collingwood specifies a built-in non-dimmable driver. It should not be connected to a dimmer as though it were a dimmable fitting.

Does selectable colour temperature mean adjustable brightness?

No. The selector changes the white-light colour. It does not provide dimming or selectable wattage.

Which colour temperatures can I choose?

The fitting offers 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. It does not offer the 2700K setting found on some Aurea models.

What is the purpose of the 3500K setting?

It provides a white-light appearance between 3000K and 4000K. This gives the installer another option when coordinating the spotlight with the surrounding lighting and finishes.

Does it deliver the same output at every setting?

No. Published output is 2,265 lumens at 3000K, 2,365 lumens at 3500K and 2,140 lumens at 4000K. The highest published output is at 3500K.

Should it be advertised as a 3,000-lumen spotlight?

Use the published fitting-output figures of 2,140–2,365 lumens. The manufacturer also uses “3000lm” shorthand, which should not replace the colour-specific luminaire outputs.

Does selecting a different colour temperature change the rated wattage?

The published rated power is 28W at all three settings. Light output varies with the selected colour temperature.
