Description
The Collingwood Solis New Gen SOL66N19D40 is a white, backlit LED ceiling panel with selectable 27W or 32W output and fixed 4000K cool white light. Designed for reading, writing and computer-based tasks, it is a useful option for office refurbishments, meeting rooms and other commercial spaces where clear general lighting matters.
Its square format suits 600 × 600 ceiling layouts, while the white finish gives a neat appearance alongside surrounding ceiling tiles. The panel measures 600 × 600 × 32mm.
Choose the light output your installation needs
Two wattage settings let the installer select the output appropriate to the lighting design:
-
27W: 3500 lumens
-
32W: 4200 lumens
This gives contractors flexibility when specifying lighting across rooms with different requirements. The colour temperature remains 4000K at either setting.
Wattage selection is different from dimming. This model provides standard on/off operation; changing between its two power settings does not make it compatible with a wall dimmer.
Low-glare lighting for working environments
Collingwood identifies this panel as UGR19 low glare and suitable for reading, writing and screen-based work. Its 90° beam controls the distribution of light, while CRI greater than 80 supports everyday colour recognition.
For office projects, the final glare level and illumination depend on the complete installation, including panel positions, room surfaces and viewing directions. Use the product’s photometric information when planning the layout.
Backlit construction with practical installation features
The backlit design places the LEDs behind the diffuser. Collingwood highlights this construction for efficient performance and improved robustness during transport.
A two-part first-fit connector assists installation, and a 1m steel safety cable is supplied. Recessed mounting is standard, with separate accessories available for surface mounting or suspension.
The panel has a TP(a) diffuser and 850°C glow-wire test approval. These are diffuser and material performance characteristics; they do not give the panel a fire-resistance duration.
