Description

The Collingwood Solis P2C19S60WA is a white 1200 × 600mm LED panel designed for offices, classrooms and meeting rooms. It delivers 6,600 lumens from 60W, providing a substantial light output for commercial lighting installations and refurbishment projects.

Its fixed 4000K cool white light suits working environments where people read, write and use computers. The rectangular format is useful when specifying larger ceiling panels, while the white frame provides a straightforward finish that works with typical commercial ceiling interiors.

UGR19 glare control for working spaces

This Solis panel has a published UGR19 glare rating, with a 90° beam angle. It is designed with visual comfort in mind, making it a useful option for spaces occupied throughout the working day.

For electricians and project specifiers, the panel combines a defined light output with low-glare optics. The number and spacing of fittings should still be selected through a lighting design appropriate to the room, rather than assuming the same layout will suit every installation.

Fixed 4000K output with a slim panel body

This exact model has a single 4000K colour temperature. There is no colour-temperature selection switch to choose between warm white and cool white settings.

The panel measures 1200 × 600 × 32mm, with an aluminium body and a white RAL 9003 finish. Its back-lit construction places the LEDs behind the illuminated surface, and Collingwood specifies an efficacy of 110 lumens per watt.

Supplied with an LED driver and quick-fit connector

The LED driver is included with this version. A two-part first-fit connector helps with installation, and the panel is supplied with a 1m steel safety cable.

The standard mounting arrangement is recessed. Where a surface installation is required, Collingwood lists the P2SMC surface mounting kit as a separate accessory. Check the ceiling arrangement and available space for both the panel and driver before ordering.

With an IP40 rating, this is an indoor panel rather than a weatherproof fitting.

Emergency conversion available separately

The standard panel can be converted using the compatible LEDEP10 emergency converter, purchased separately. This allows the emergency lighting provision to be specified as part of the project; the panel itself should not be ordered on the assumption that a battery pack is included.

Collingwood lists a 50,000-hour L70 LED lifetime, a five-year product warranty and two-year on-site warranty support, subject to its terms and registration requirements.

FAQ's

Is this LED panel suitable for offices with computer screens?

Collingwood specifies the Solis P2C19S60WA for offices, classrooms and meeting rooms, including reading, writing and computer-based work. Its published UGR19 glare rating helps with specification, although the final lighting design must account for the room and fitting layout.

How bright is it, and what colour light does it produce?

The panel delivers 6,600 lumens from 60W, with fixed 4000K cool white light. It provides a neutral appearance for working environments; there is no switch to select a warmer colour temperature.

Can it replace an existing 1200 × 600 fluorescent ceiling fitting?

It can be considered for a lighting refurbishment where the ceiling arrangement, available space and required light distribution are suitable. Your electrician should check the opening, support and wiring rather than assume it is a direct replacement based on size alone.

What space is needed above the ceiling?

The panel measures 1200 × 600 × 32mm. The 32mm figure is the panel depth, so additional space must be allowed for the separate driver, connections and installation access.

Can I install it on a solid ceiling?

Collingwood lists the P2SMC surface mounting kit for this panel. This accessory is purchased separately and provides an alternative to the standard recessed installation.

Is the LED driver included?

Yes. This exact product code is listed with its LED driver included, together with a two-part first-fit connector. The panel also comes with a 1m steel safety cable.

Can I use this panel with a dimmer switch or DALI system?

Dimming needs confirmation before ordering. Collingwood’s SKU style field and established technical table describe this version as non-dimmable, while its current dimming field also states DALI-2. Check the actual supplied driver; a DALI driver and a conventional wall dimmer use different control methods.

Is this an emergency LED panel?

Emergency conversion is optional. Collingwood lists the LEDEP10 converter, sold separately, for converting the panel. The standard product should not be ordered on the assumption that an emergency battery is included.

Does UGR19 guarantee the correct lighting level throughout my office?

No. UGR concerns glare, while illuminance is measured in lux. Achieved light levels depend on ceiling height, panel spacing, room dimensions and surface reflectance, so a lighting calculation is needed to establish the layout.
