Description

A decorative wall light that changes the feel of a room

The Collingwood Lustre AIN3KWLBK brings lighting and wall decoration together in one compact fitting. Its distinctive triangular form and black finish make it a strong choice for a living room feature wall, bedroom, hallway, dining area or hospitality interior. Use one as an individual accent, arrange a pair for balance, or work several into a larger wall installation.

This is the black, wall-mounted Lustre model. Its integrated 8W LED produces 355 lumens of 3000K warm white light. That combination is suited to creating a comfortable indoor atmosphere and adding a useful layer of light, particularly alongside the room’s main lighting. The published 120° beam angle spreads the light broadly rather than concentrating it into a narrow spot. Its colour rendering index is CRI >80, helping interior finishes and furnishings appear natural under the light. These output figures apply to the black AIN3KWLBK specifically; the separate white model has a different published lumen output.

Create a single statement or a repeated pattern

The Lustre is particularly useful when the wall itself is part of the lighting design. Collingwood states that the fittings can be through-wired, allowing an installer to create connected decorative arrangements. The manufacturer suggests combining five luminaires into a full-circle design or alternating their orientation for another visual pattern. Each AIN3KWLBK is one individual wall light; a five-light arrangement requires five fittings and a planned installation.

The light is TRIAC dimmable and Collingwood lists compatibility with mains leading-edge/trailing-edge dimming. With a suitable LED dimmer and correctly designed circuit, the brightness can be adjusted from a more useful level to a softer evening setting. Its 3000K colour temperature remains fixed: dimming changes brightness, while it does not turn the fitting into a colour-switchable or dim-to-warm light.

FAQ's

What supply and earthing does AIN3KWLBK need?
Collingwood specifies 220–240V AC and Class I construction. Provide the protective earth and install in accordance with the supplied instructions and the circuit design.

Does it need a separate low-voltage LED driver?
It is listed with a 220–240V AC input, so specify the installation for the manufacturer’s stated mains supply rather than treating it as a constant-current low-voltage fitting.

Can several Lustre wall lights be wired together?
Yes. Collingwood states that the fitting supports through-wiring and lists a loop-in/loop-out installation connector. Its brochure identifies parallel wiring. Plan conductor capacity, circuit loading and the installation route for the complete group.

Which dimming method is specified?
The manufacturer calls it TRIAC dimmable and lists mains leading-edge/trailing-edge dimming on the product table. Check the particular dimmer’s LED load limits and performance with the intended number of 8W luminaires.

Does dimming change the colour temperature?
No colour-changing or dim-to-warm function is specified. This model’s rated colour temperature is 3000K; the dimming feature is for brightness control.

Is it suitable for emergency lighting?
No emergency option is listed for AIN3KWLBK. It should not be counted as an emergency luminaire in a lighting design.
