Collingwood Area Bay 100W DALI-2 LED High Bay

The Collingwood Area Bay HBA1D is a matt black LED high bay for commercial and industrial ceiling-lighting projects. It delivers 16,000 lumens of fixed 4000K cool white light from a 100W fitting, with DALI-2 dimming for integration into a compatible lighting-control system.

For warehouse refurbishments, workshops and other high-ceiling spaces, it gives contractors a defined combination of output, beam distribution and digital control. Fitting quantities and positions should be selected to suit the room layout and required illumination.

DALI-2 control for a planned lighting scheme

This is the DALI-2 model in the 100W Area Bay range. Within a suitable commissioned system, DALI enables individual fittings or groups to respond to lighting commands, making it useful where different areas need separate control.

The HBA1D should be selected specifically for a DALI installation. The HBA1V uses 0–10V control, which is a different interface.

16,000 lumens with controlled light distribution

The 100W output delivers a stated efficacy of 160 lm/W. Dedicated lenses over the LEDs control the light distribution, producing a broad 110° beam.

The fixed 4000K colour temperature provides cool white illumination, while CRI greater than 80 supports everyday colour recognition. This model has a specified 100W rating; selectable wattage and adjustable colour temperature are not listed features.

Durable housing and accessible driver

The fitting has an ADC12 aluminium-alloy housing finished in matt black RAL9017, with a polycarbonate front lens. Its IP65 enclosure provides dust protection and resistance to water jets.

A removable driver assists maintenance, allowing an electrician to access the driver without treating the entire fitting as a sealed, disposable unit.

Installation details

Collingwood specifies a 220–240V AC supply and Class I construction, requiring a protective earth connection.

The fitting is pre-wired with a 1.5m H05RN-F 3 × 1.0mm² flying lead. Manufacturer mounting information includes jack chain, bracket and rod arrangements, with suitable mounting accessories selected for the installation.
