Description
Compact warm white lighting for decking and pathways
The Collingwood GL019RSS30F is a round, recessed LED ground light with a 316 stainless steel finish and fixed 3000K warm white light. It provides discreet accent lighting for decking, pathways, entrance areas and landscape features, with a small visible face that keeps attention on the surrounding space.
This exact model has a 38° beam, giving broader illumination than the narrow 12° version in the GL019 range. The light direction is fixed, so fitting positions should be planned around the features or surfaces you want to illuminate.
Walk-over construction for pedestrian areas
Collingwood identifies this stainless steel version as suitable for walk-over use, with an IK06 impact rating. It should be selected for pedestrian areas rather than positions where vehicles will pass over it.
The fitting has IP68 protection, and the manufacturer lists it as suitable for coastal areas. Appropriate installation, drainage and waterproof electrical connections remain important parts of the finished lighting system.
Choose the output through the LED driver
The light supports five published operating points:
-
150mA - 0.4W, producing 54 lumens
-
250mA - 0.7W, producing 86 lumens
-
350mA - 1W, producing 116 lumens
-
500mA - 1.5W, producing 160 lumens
-
700mA - 2.2W, producing 210 lumens
The compatible constant-current driver determines the operating level. There is no wattage-selection switch on the fitting, and the colour temperature remains 3000K at every setting.
The LED driver is purchased separately. This model requires a suitable constant-current supply and must not be connected directly to 230V mains or treated as a standard 12V or 24V constant-voltage light.
Installation tube and cable supplied
The ground light comes with an installation tube and a 1m H05RN-F rubberised cable. Collingwood specifies a 33mm cut-out for the fitting alone and a 37mm opening when using the installation tube.
The instructions cover installation into decking, concrete and soil. Concrete and soil installations require suitable drainage or a soakaway, while enough accessible cable should be retained to allow future removal of the fitting.
Multiple lights are wired in series, using a driver selected for the complete connected load. Suitable IP68 connection accessories, such as Collingwood JB2, JB4 or JB6, are available separately.
Designed for professional maintenance
The modular light source can be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified professional. Collingwood publishes an L70 70,000-hour LED lifetime, helping specifiers assess long-term lighting maintenance.
