Description

The Collingwood Focal TR43730 is a 32W LED track spotlight for compatible three-circuit lighting systems. Its matt white aluminium body coordinates with white track and light-coloured ceilings, while the adjustable head and optics let you control both the direction and spread of the light.

Designed for indoor accent lighting, it is useful in shops and showrooms where displays change or different areas need different beam coverage. The 30°–60° adjustable beam lets the installer concentrate light on a smaller feature or spread it across a broader display using the same fitting.

Change the beam spread and aiming direction separately

The head offers 355° rotation and 90° tilt to direct the light towards shelving, merchandise or a feature area. Adjusting the front optical section changes the beam width.

These are separate adjustments: the head determines where the light points, while the beam setting determines how widely it spreads. This gives you more flexibility when setting up the installation than a spotlight with a fixed beam angle.

Select the white-light colour on each fitting

Choose between 3000K, 3500K and 4000K using the selector on the spotlight. The three settings provide warm white, an intermediate white and cool white, helping the installer coordinate the light with the surrounding interior.

Collingwood publishes the following fitting outputs:

  • 3000K - 2,625 lumens

  • 3500K - 2,785 lumens

  • 4000K - 2,535 lumens

Rated power remains 32W across these settings. Each fitting can be configured individually, although matching settings help maintain a consistent appearance across one display.

Specification

The Collingwood Focal TR43730 is a matt white 32W LED spotlight for compatible mains three-circuit track, designed for adjustable accent and display lighting in dry indoor spaces. Its distinguishing feature is a 30°–60° adjustable beam, allowing the spread to be narrowed for a smaller feature or widened for broader display coverage. The head also offers 355° rotation and 90° tilt, so direction and spread can be adjusted separately. Each fitting provides selectable 3000K, 3500K or 4000K white light, with respective published outputs of 2,625, 2,785 and 2,535 lumens. CRI above 90 supports faithful colour appearance, while SDCM3 specifies colour consistency between fittings. This model includes a non-dimmable driver; colour selection and optical adjustment do not provide dimming. Its aluminium housing has a matt white finish and silver reflector. It operates from 220–240V AC, is IP20 and IK06, and requires a correctly earthed compatible track system because it is Class I. Track and installation accessories are purchased separately.

FAQ's

What is the Collingwood Focal TR43730?

It is a matt white 32W LED spotlight for compatible three-circuit track. It combines adjustable direction, an adjustable 30°–60° beam and three selectable white-light colours.

How does TR43730 differ from TR43705?

TR43730 is matt white, while TR43705 is matt black. The published power, output figures, colour settings and beam-adjustment range are the same.

How does Focal differ from the Collingwood Ted spotlight?

Focal is rated at 32W and has an adjustable 30°–60° beam. Ted is rated at 28W and has a fixed 45° beam. Focal offers more control over the spread of light.

What is the benefit of adjusting the beam angle?

A narrower beam concentrates light on a smaller area. A wider beam covers more of the display, making the fitting useful where the required coverage changes.

Does adjusting the head also change the beam width?

No. Rotation and tilt change the direction. The separate front optical adjustment changes the beam spread.

Which beam positions are shown in the instructions?

The installation diagram identifies 30°, 45° and 60° positions within the advertised 30°–60° range.

Is beam adjustment a form of dimming?

No. It changes light distribution rather than providing electrical brightness control. This fitting has a non-dimmable driver.

How far can the spotlight head move?

The head offers 355° rotation and 90° tilt. Check the available space around the fitting for the intended aiming position.

Which colour temperatures can I select?

The fitting offers 3000K, 3500K and 4000K white light. It does not include a 2700K setting.
